Getting Even - Chentao | Taochen
It all started after Jongdae's birthday party. Tao was happy and his body was excited from the sweet he ate during the party. He was jumping around the dorm when everyone, except for Jongdae, was practically sleeping in their own rooms. He saw Jongdae on the couch and something inside of him just snapped, staring at the main vocal's jawline made Tao want to do dirty stuffs to the guy, but he couldn't. Not with his hyungs at home. So he did something that he regretted, sort of. He kissed Jongdae. A long, heated, passionate kiss, right on the lips. He gasped when he finally realized what he did, he looked at Jongdae nervously before running off to his own room.
He didn't know exactly what happened, but he hid in his room, he couldn't sleep for the whole night. The next morning he saw Jongdae again. The older didn't say anything, he didn't look at Tao, didn't talk to Tao, just minding his own business like he always did. So Tao shrugged it off, thinking that maybe Jongdae only thought of it as a joke. It was only a few days later that he realized Jongdae had been very distance toward him. The dancing machine wouldn't make eye contact with him, wouldn't reply whenever he asked questions, and just out right ignored him.
"Jongdae hyung!" Tao poked Jongdae's arm, hoping to get some attention but the other man didn't budge.
"Hyung~" Tao tried again, using his cute whiny voice but it didn't work. His aegyos never worked on Jongdae anyways.
"Hyung! Hyung! Hyung!" Tao went on, flopping up and down on the couch in order to annoyed Jongdae but instead the older man just stood up and walked away.
Tao stared as Jongdae stormed to his room and huffed. His arms folded at his chest and he pursed his lips, continued to sulk until Minseok came.
"What happened?" the oldest asked, feeding himself a mouthful of chips as he sat down next to Tao
"Jongdae hyung's ignoring me ..." Tao pouted.
"Did you do something to him?"
"Well...." Tao hesitated, glancing at Minseok before answering, "I might have done something ...."
"Well, you better go fix it before it's too late then" Minseok said, giving Tao a knowing look and the maknae nodded.
Tao knocked on the door but no sound came out. He expected that, so he went on and let himself in. Luckily, Kris was out shopping with Yixing, so Jongdae was alone in the room. Tao closed the door behind him quietly.
He cleared his throat in order to get Jongdae's attention, but the latter seemed very immersed in his book.
Tao sighed as he took a few steps closer and pleaded, "Hyung... Can we please talk?"
Jongdae didn't answer.
"Why are you ignoring me?" Tao wanted to punch himself because he knew why. He felt stupid after asking that, so he mentally face-palmed himself.
"Hyun -" Tao reached out in attempt to poke Jongdae's shoulder but the oldest of the two suddenly spoke as he dropped his book on the bed and stared at Tao, "You kissed me Tao"
"Y-yeah... but it was a joke" Tao lied, scratching his eyes and looked anywhere else but Jongdae.
"A joke?!" Jongdae's eyes widened as he asked, half shouting. His hands unconsciously formed into fists, his breathing became unsteady, "You kissed me because it was a stupid joke?"
"H-hyung ... I-I" Tao stammered, he wasn't sure of what to say.
"You freakin kissed me Tao!" Jongdae yelled, "It wasn't even just a peck, but it was a full on kiss!"
Tao stood there in silence, his head lowered as he listened to the older male ranting.
"You kissed me" Jongdae huffed, "You made me question my sexuality! You turned me gay! And then you went on and acted like nothing ever happened!"
Tao flinched a little and his head lifted up, his eyes widened and his mouth parted slightly in complete shock. Did he heard it right?
"Y-you You freakin kissed me!" Jongdae repeated for the umpteenth time, "And then you go whoring around with other hyungs"
Again, Tao just stood there and stared at Jongdae with his mouth now opened widely.
"Y-you kissed me..." Jongdae finally broke down in tears, his lips trembled as he spoke, "And it was all just a freakin joke to you!"
"H-hyung.. I ..."
Tao was at a loss for words and he felt guilty looking at Jongdae sobbing. His fingers fidgeted nervously by his sides and as he stared at the older male, everything Jongdae said slowly kicked in,
"Wait" Tao suddenly spoke and and a smile crept on his face mischievously, "So.... You questioned your sexuality because of our kiss and you find out that you're gay .... meaning, you must have some kind of feelings for me ... right?"
Jongdae stopped crying and glared at Tao, who then continued to speak with a huge grin on his face, "And you were jealous that i spent time with other hyungs ...."
"W-what" Jongdae stuttered. He blinked and stepped back slowly when he noticed Tao walking toward him with a very unreadable expression.
"Oh my gosh hyung" Tao stopped and gasped with his hand covering his mouth, "You freakin like me back don't you!" Tao cheered excitedly and Jongdae gave him a shove, "Shut up. It's all just a stupid joke to you anyway!"
"Hyung..." Tao frowned, "I lied ...."
"Huh?"
"I didn't kiss you because it was a joke. I kissed you because i wanted to ..." Tao explained, his eyes trailed down to the boring floor beneath him, his body swayed back and forth as he played with the hem of his shirt.
"Oh ..." Was all Jongdae could say.
"But it doesn't matter because ..." Tao looked back up into Jongdae's eyes and smiled brightly, "You like me back!"
Jongdae growled when Tao decided to sing, "You like me, You like me, Jongdae hyung likes me back ~"
"Shut up" Jongdae hissed but Tao ignored him and sang louder.
No choice, Jongdae grabbed Tao's collar and pulled him down to his level, their lips crashed within seconds. Jongdae could feel Tao smiling before he pulled away.
"You left me no choice" Jongdae mumbled when their lips parted, "Now we're even"
"No we're not" Tao smirked and before the oldest could respond, Tao suddenly wrapped his long arms around Jongdae's waist and pulled him in gently for another long and passionate kiss.
"Wanna get even again?" Tao grinned as he rested his forehead against Jongdae's, their nose touched slightly.
"Shut up" Jongdae whispered, a faint pink shade crept on his cheeks as he pushed Tao away playfully. Tao couldn't help but laugh at his hyung's -now boyfriend's- adorableness. So, Tao decided to hold Jongdae tightly in his embrace, no matter how much the other man protested. Too bad, Tao's bigger.
