Scenario 2 - Emerald and hankyung
Hankyung spat out his food and widened his eyes as his friend, Youngmin spoke. He quickly wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, "What? Why? For how long? How do you know that?"
"She's LEAVING" Youngmin emphasized the word leaving while rolling his eyes, "I heard her talking on the phone. Something about tired of being someone's enemy or something like that"
"What?" Hankyung cocked his head the side and questioned Youngmin, who in return to shrug his shoulder, "That's all i heard, if you want to know more go ask her or something"
"Ask her?" Hankyung mumbled, "She's not gonna talk to me"
"What?" Youngmin threw and tomato in his mouth carelessly
Hankyung just shook his head, "Nothing"
"Whatev" Youngmin chewed on the tomato as he started talking again, "There's a party this weekend, wanna go? All of the hot babes are going to be there"
Hankyung didn't answered, his mind was elsewhere. He wasn't gonna snapped out of it until Youngmin slapped his shoulder. Hard, "Yah! what's wrong with you? Are you coming or what?"
"Where to?"
Youngmin sighed and threw a tomato at him, "The party! with hot babes! you coming?"
Hankyung shook his head slightly, "Nah i think i'll pass"
Youngmin's eyes widened as he spat the tomato out, "What you talking about?? you're the kingka! everyone expects to see you there!"
"I'm tired, i don't want to go" Hankyung answered but his mind was still wandering.
"Yah, you have to come !"
"I said i'm tired!" Hankyung grabbed his bag and left Youngmin there like an idiot while he was screaming for Hankyung.
Hankyung found himself wandering around the playground he and Emerald used to hang out. It was sad how they used to be best friend, but then things happened and now they're enemies. It was all his fault anyway, he was too caught up with popularity that he neglected her. To her they're like enemies, but to him they're still friends. He just screwed up real bad.
Hankyung kicked the leaves on the ground angrily. He sat on the ground and buried his face in between his knees. The thought of Emerald leaving and it was probably because of him pissed him off.
To him, she was still his best friend, maybe she didn't feel the same but he cared for her. He just didn't show it. He knew he should have but how? He was a kingka and she was just a nerd. He was selfish and would rather be popular than to be a better friend to her. He hated himself for not being there for her, for being selfish and for being the reason why she's leaving.
He mentally slapped himself, what could he possibly do to make her stay?

"What's the square root of pi?"
Emerald jumped at the sudden question. She looked up and to her surprise it was her ex-best friend. What surprising was that he wasn't wearing what he normally wore. He actually wore the school uniform with a proper tie and a pair of nerdy glasses which he would never wear back then. She frowned and went back to her book, "What do you think you're doing?"
"You didn't answer my question" Hankyung took a seat next to her, "What's the square root of pi?"
Emerald didn't answered him. She was sad and mad that they weren't best friend anymore, but if she started talking to him again she knew she would forget about everything and she probably won't be able to leave.
"Answer me" He poked Emerald's side continuously. But she wasn't gonna give up so easily, "Emerald answer me"
Her heart just jumped as he mentioned her name. He might have change a lot but the way he called her was still the same. It still gives her that nice and warm feeling.
"Oh, so you still remember my name" Emerald scoffed but didn't remove her eyes from her book even though she stopped reading once Hankyung sat down next to her.
"What are you talking about? Of course i still remember your name. How can i not? You're my best friend" Hankyung frowned.
So she was still his best friend. Her heart just jumped again for the second time. He still thought of her as a best friend.
"Ex-best friend you mean?"
"No, you've always been my best friend, you were my best friend then, you're still my best friend now, and you will always be my best friend"
Emerald unconsciously gripping tightly onto her book, her heart kept beating faster and faster, but she still couldn't face him. Not now.
Hankyung reached out and snatched the book away from her, "I know you're not reading Emerald. I'm your best friend, i know when you're faking"
"Stop it! Stop calling yourself my best friend! you're not!" She shrieked. Luckily there were no one around.
Hankyung sighed, "I know you're mad and you have every rights to be. But please just listen to me. I know i was selfish, i wasn't there for you like a good best friend would and i hurt you. You can yell at me and hit me all you want but please don't say that im not your best friend"
Emerald couldn't control herself any longer, tears started to flow out of her eyes but she didn't know that Hankyung had started crying too.
"Emerald, i'm so sorry. All i'm asking for is a chance to make it up to you" He reached for her face and wiped away her tears, "Don't leave"
At this point, Emerald had completely broken down, she was sobbing uncontrollably. She started hitting his chest, "You asshole! i care for you but you go and ignore me, do you know how sad i was ?"
Hankyung didn't do anything, he let her hit him. Being her best friend for a long time, he knew he was very close to being forgiven, "I'm sorry"
"You jerk! I waited for you to come back but you're too busy being popular and you didn't care about me! You dumb ass!" She was exhausted, she buried her face on his chest and cried some more.
Hankyung knew this was his chance, he grabbed her whole body and pulled her closer to him, "I know, i'm such a dumb ass.... forgive me bestie?"
Emerald pushed him away slightly and glared at him, "Dumb ass, you have 1 more chance don't screw it up
"Yes!" Hankyung cheered and kissed her on the forehead, "Thanks bestie, i promise i won't screw up"
