Kira Kim and Cho Kyuhyun

"Ahh oppa, you're so handsome! Please be my boyfriend!" A bunch of girls yelled at the captain of the football team. Cho Kyuhyun. "Whoa, how can someone be so handsome ?"
Kyuhyun took the towel on the bench and threw it over his head and walked away from the football field. He didn't even bother to look at those girls who were acting like they're so in love with him. But those girls just didn't get the hint, they followed him around and giggling at how he's so attractive. Kyuhyun couldn't take it anymore, he turned around and stared at those girls "Yah! stop following me and get lost! All of you!"
He threw the towel on the floor and stormed to the locker room, left the girls standing there with tears in their eyes. But he knew they wouldn't give up, he's been telling them to get lost since, who can remember. But they still following him around like lost puppies. Hell, they even have a fan club for him at school. That's how popular he was or that's how obsessed they were with him.
Kyuhyun sat in the locker room for hours, knowing that if he stepped out of there he would be surrounded by those girls again, and he just couldn't deal with that. Not now. The clock slowly reached 7pm. He slowly peeked out to see nothing but an empty hall way. He took his stuffs and headed to the library. Being a sporty guy that he was, books and library wasn't his thing, but he needed a break. Plus, knowing some information about those fans of his, if they don't see enough of him after football practice, they'll be waiting outside of his house. And no one would be at the library at this time except for 1 or 2 librarians. So the library would be a good place for him to hide from all of the craziness around him.
He stepped into the library, surprised to see that he was not the only one there. Which was odd. But he walked in anyway.
'Great, a fan has found out where he hide' He thought as he walked to the chair next to a window. And to his surprise, that person didn't even look up. She was too busy buried her head in those books she had around her. Feeling sort of relieve but also curious, he stared at the girl and slowly sat down. The girl didn't seem to notice he was there. Gave up, he turn the chair around and stared out the window.
"Achooo! " He sneezed "Achooo!" Kyuhyun grabbed his bag and looked for some tissues but couldn't find any. While looking, someone handed him a pack of tissues. He looked up to see the girl he was staring at earlier stood there beside him. He took the pack of tissues from her and said coldly "Thanks"
"You're welcome" She murmured and walked away.
"Doesn't she want this back?" He mumbled to himself. He looked back and the girl was already gone. He glanced at the clock and it was already 9:00 pm. He stuffed the pack of tissues into his bag and left the library.
The next day he walked in the classroom, and of course there were love notes and letters on his desk. He sighed and without hesitation, he threw everything in the trash can. He looked around and a person caught his attention. The girl from yesterday.
'Hm, i didn't know she was in my class' He thought 'But whatever, who cares anyway.'
"Okay class, sit down. I have an announcement to make!" The teacher shouted, trying to calm the class. After about 10 minutes of shouting, the class had finally settled down. "Alright class, lets give a hand to Kim Kira, who got first place in the entire school. Again."
The whole class clapped loudly. Kira just looked down at the desk and blush. This happens all the time. She always get first place no matter what she does. But every time someone make a big deal out of this, Kira couldn't help but blush and wishing she was hiding somewhere else.
Finally, it was time for break. Kira took her homemade lunch and headed to the cafeteria. It was crowded like always. Especially at the 'special table' which was where Kyuhyun eat lunch. Kira sat down and had lunch with a few of her close friends. She could hear the girls screaming Kyuhyun's name, on another side people would be talking about how good looking he is, or bashing on him for being so cold-hearted. Kira knew that Kyuhyun was cold-hearted, mean, and harsh, but that didn't make her jump to conclusion that he was a dick. She could see that he wasn't happy and that's not who he really is. She always see the good in everyone. Because that's just the kind of person she is.
"Yah! Oppa ! How could you be so cruel ?" A girl with long hair sat on the floor with her food fell next to her yelled at Kyuhyun, who couldn't careless about what this girl had to say base on the smirk on his face.
Kira quickly pushed her food aside and ran toward the crying girl. She knelt down next to the girl and wiped away her tears "C'mon let's get you clean up" She helped the girl up and went out of the cafeteria.
Kyuhyun just stared at the girls as they walked out of the cafeteria.
After school that day, Kyuhyun walked to the bus stop. He didn't feel like driving his car, and it has been a while since he last rode the bus. He got on and chose the seat in the back, after a few minute he saw her, again. She was sitting a few seats away from him. She didn't seem to notice him.
"Ma'am, just sit down in my seat" Kira said to the old lady standing next to her.
The old lady looked at her and smile gratefully "Thank you so much."
Kira just replied with a sweet smile. Time past by, more and more people got off the bus. Kira finally got to sit down. She was exhausted after the long day at school and standing for so long. She closed her eyes, hoping to rest for a few minutes before she reached home. Not soon after she closed her eyes, she felt someone staring at her. She opened her eyes to see the most popular guy at her school, Kyuhyun, sat next to her.
He looked at her and smirked "What's wrong with you?"
She stared at him for a while, almost forgot to answer his question. "What ?"
"Why do you like to help people so much?" He continued.
"B-because i like it. Helping people make me happy"
He smiled, a real smile. Not a smirk or a half smile. But an actual smile. "If you like helping people so much, why don't you help me."
"u..uhm, what do you need help with ?"
"Shh, just be quiet and lend me your shoulder." He said. Didn't let her answer and just put his head on her shoulder. Kira was shocked at first, but she was happy too. Not because the most popular guy is sleeping on her shoulder, but because she got to see his real smile, for the first time.
"Kyuhyun-ah, wake up. We need to get off the bus" Kira said quietly while poking him slightly.
Kyuhyun woke up and scratched his head. He looked over to Kira and smile once more "Thanks, Kira"
Kira was shocked for the second time, she stared at him and before she could say 'You're welcome' he already stood up and left. That night Kira couldn't stop thinking about what happened earlier, she couldn't stop thinking about his smile. And what troubled her the most was why he acted the way that he did.
The next day, Kira came to the library to study and Kyuhyun was already there. He was sitting at the table that she usually sit. She didn't know what to do, should she say hi ? should she talk to him ? After battling with her mind, she decided to leave him alone, since he looked busy. She walked past him and to the table next to his and sat down.
"Hey Kira" He whispered "Why are you sitting so far away?"
"Uh...h.. I- " Before she could finish her sentence, he stood up and walked over to her table.
"Uhm listen, you like helping people right?" He asked and Kira nodded "So, i have a football game next month, and coach said i have to get my grade up or else i won't be able to play"
"Okay ... And .... ?"
"And i was wondering if you could tutor me ... you know, since you're first place in the entire school after all"
Kira looked down and blushed as Kyuhyun brought up the first place topic.
"I'm sorry, did i say something wrong?" He leaned in closer to her.
"Ah no, i was just... uhm, it's nothing"
"So ... ?"
"So what ?"
"Will you tutor me ?"
"Uhm, sure .... You want to start now?"
"Sure"
The 2 started to hit the books. Kira kept explaining to Kyuhyun how to solve a simple math problem, but he kept getting it wrong. In stead of getting mad like normal person would, Kira would just smiled and explained it to him slowly until he gets it right. They were studying for 2 hours and Kyuhyun only solved 2 really simple math problems.
They meet up with each other more often, getting to know each other a bit more. Kyuhyun started to feel a bit more comfortable around Kira, and he learned to smile more often.
"Ready to start learning today ?" Kira asked, smiling at the football captain.
"No, i was thinking maybe we should get to know each other a bit more first"
'Getting to know each other ? Don't we already know each other ?' - Kira thought.
"So, since we're getting to know each other. Do you have any question you want to ask me?" Kyuhyun started
"Uhm, why... are you not mean to me ... ?" Kira started with a question that she been dying to know.
Kyuhyun chuckled "Because you're special"
Kira blushed a little bit "No, seriously, why are you nice to me ?"
Kyuhyun sighed "Because ... you're not like other people that i know"
"And why is that ?"
"You're nice, you're actually nice. You were the first person that didn't try to take advantage of me. Everyone i know, my so call friends are just using me. But you're not like that. Maybe it's bit early for me to say this, and i hope i won't regret this later, but i think i can start to trust you"
Kira smiled and took his hand "You won't regret that, you can trust me"
He looked at Kira and smiled "Thanks"
"Kyuhyun-ah, is that the reason why you've been so mean to everyone?"
Kyuhyun's smile turned into a frown, and he sighed "Pretty much, everyone wanted to be my friends, but that's only because I'm popular and rich. Girls wanted to be with me only because they think that I'm attractive, they don't even know anything about me. They don't even bother to get to know me. When i was sad, no one was ever there for me."
Kira's smile slowly faded . She could see the sadness on his face, at that moment she wanted to hug him, hug him tight, and that's what she did. She didn't care if he thinks that she was weird. She just wanted to be there for him. She wanted to erase his sadness.
"Kyuhyun-ah, I'll be there for you" She whispered. At that moment, Kyuhyun was happy, he was truly happy for the first time in so long. A smile appeared on his face, and he whispered back "Thanks Kira"
That day, they sat in the library and talked about their problems, laughed at each others' jokes, shared their memories. They got closer in no time.
The next day, Kyuhyun was excited to go to school for the first time ever. He wanted to see Kira, the girl who understands him, the girl who wants to be his friend not because he was popular or attractive, the girl who actually listens to his problems. Kyuhyun put a smile on his face and stepped into his school. But there was something different, there were no girls around him, there were no screaming. He knew something was wrong. He walked faster to the hall way, and there was a big crowd. He looked on the floor and found a bunch of fliers, pictures of him and Kira hugging last night.
"Yah! What did you do to Kyuhyun oppa ?" A girl screamed.
"How did you seduced him you whore ?!" Another one joined in.
"Fuck!" He cussed. He pushed through the crowd roughly and he stopped when he saw the poor Kira on the ground with tears in her eyes, and blood on her shirt. All of his angers built up, he clenched his fist and yelled as loud as he could "Yah!"
The entire hallway immediately got quiet. He was too angry he couldn't even speak. He knelt down next to Kira, put her arm over his shoulder and picked her up. "I'll deal with you later" He said to the girls who were hurting Kira before headed to the nurse's office.
After the nurse took care of Kira's wounds, she let Kyuhyun stayed to accompany Kira.
Kyuhyun sat in the chair stared at his hands "Kira ... I'm sorry"
"Why ? It's not your fault"
Kyuhyun looked up and see that Kira was smiling at him. Even through all this, she still managed to smile. That was one thing he likes about her.
"But it is my fault, you got hurt because of me"
"Kyuhyun-ah, don't be like this, don't blame yourself. I'm fine"
Kyuhyun just stared at her. 'This girl is unbelievable, how can she smile at a time like this ?' - He thought.
He stared at her hair, then her eyes, her nose, and finally her lips. He just realized what a beautiful creature she was, despite all the bruises on her face. He never understood the phase 'Beautiful inside and out' until now. It was Kira who taught him to understand that phase. She was beautiful inside and out.
Kyuhyun could no longer control himself, he reached out to touched her face slightly, he held her tiny face in his hands as he slowly leaned in and landed a kiss on her lips. He gently removed his hands from her face and wrapped them around her body to pulled her in closer to his.
"Ah" Kira pulled away, causing to Kyuhyun to looked at her confused. "My lips hurt"
"Oh ... Sorry"
"It's okay " She smiled.
"Uhm, Kira, i have something to take care of. I'll be back in a little bit, okay ?" He said and Kira nodded.
Before he left, Kyuhyun stopped at the door and looked back "Kira"
"Hm ?"
"Call me oppa from now on, okay ?"
Kira blushed at Kyuhyun's comment and nodded "Okay oppa"
About 10 minutes after Kyuhyun left, Kira decided to lay down and take a nap. But she was interrupted by an announcement.
"Excuse me, i have an announcement to make"
'Kyuhyun oppa ?' Kira thought as she heard the familiar voice coming from the speaker 'What is he doing ?'
"I want everyone to listen to this, and listen carefully. Kim Kira is my girlfriend. Yes, Cho Kyuhyun's girlfriend. If anyone dare to mess with her, well, i will snap your little neck off and make your life a living hell. " He said "Oh and to those girls who hurt her earlier, If i were you, i wouldn't stay at this school anymore. "
Kira gasped at the announcement that Kyuhyun just made. She couldn't believe what he just said, she was his girlfriend. And he threatened the whole school for her. Kira just sat there on the bed, still completely dumbfounded at what just happened.
"Hey, how's my girlfriend doing ?" Kyuhyun said as he poked his head through the door.
"Ky - " Kira started but then she stopped "Oppa! Why did you do that ?"
Kyuhyun smiled at the word oppa "What ? i just don't like it when people mess with my girlfriend" He said and walked toward her bed.
"Pstt, who said I'm your girlfriend ?"
Kyuhyun's smile turned into a frown as he sat down on Kira's bed "But you kissed me back though"
"So ? That doesn't mean anything" She teased.
"Fine, then I'll kiss you some more then" He leaned and grabbed Kira but she pushed him away.
"Ayoo, oppa, stop it! We're in the nurse's office"
"So ? I don't care, I'll just kiss you until you admit to be my girlfriend" Then he laid down and pulled her down with him.
Kira laughed "Oppa !"
"Are you my girlfriend now ?"
"Nope"
"Fine" Kyuhyun pulled her in closer and hugged her tighter "How about now ?"
Kira couldn't help but laugh "Fine, fine. I'm your girlfriend"
"Good" He said and kissed her gently on the lips.
'so this is the real Kyuhyun' Kira thought as she responded to his kiss.
